What attributes would you like to have?


Perhaps you may find it useful to think about the questions below:

  • Do you know which personal attributes you would like to have so you can create a future you want?
  • Would you like to identify which personal attributes could be beneficial for you?

If you would like to identify which personal attributes could be beneficial for you but are unsure what personal qualities you would like, you might find it helpful to make a list of personal attributes you possess and place a plus or minus sign next to each one depending on whether you believe they support or negatively impact your purpose, goals, and preferred way of life. 

This may help you eliminate or reduce the impact of a trait that you find is getting in your way to achieve what you desire and also identify a trait that you may want to turn from a perceived negative trait into a positive trait.  For instance, if you have trouble staying calm under pressure, this can be a personal quality you decide to investigate, cultivate, and improve.

After completing this exercise, you may find it easier to think about the personal attributes you’d like to possess and choose to explore, practice and develop as preferred personal attributes.


Make a commitment to develop your personal attributes through purposeful learning and practice against your desired purpose, goals, and preferred way of life.
