What have you learned today?

Categories:

If I was to ask you the following question you are more than likely going to have an answer, even if it is nothing!

  • What have you done today?

This is a question often asked when people have completed a day / shift at work, but I ask you to consider the benefits of asking a question about learning:

  • What have you learned today?

Or the question could be more specific:

  • What X things did you learn today?

This can help people to think about what they are learning and link their thinking to long term success, which can be especially useful if they have had a bad performance day.

It is also a question you can think about yourself as a reflection task.

Options

Choose to explore how you communicate with others about their learning & performance plus how you learn and engage in daily learning.

Or

Change nothing if this is something you already do or not interested in.
